A Message from the Headmaster . . .

Dear Parent or Friend of children:

Thank you for taking time to look over our website. I hope it has been helpful. If you have any questions or helpful comments, please do not hesitate to let us know.

My wife and I have great trust in Christian schools. Before I moved to this area almost 7 years ago, my children and I rode 30 minutes one-way for their Christian schooling. (We paid quite a bit of money for tolls too). It was a great time of bonding for my children and me. It also let them know how much they meant to their parents. The time (I used my lunch hour to pick them up), the money, and the sacrifices all were signs that they were incredibly important to us. They also recognized how much God and His values meant to us. My children are now 16 and 20. They both love God. We are deeply grateful for their lives. Just like you, we are extremely proud of our children.

When our family moved to this area to pastor New Life Assembly, our children went to King’s Academy. My wife and I take seriously the call from God to teach our children diligently about the things of God (Deuteronomy 6:4-9). We also understand the responsibility given by God when he gave our children to us. It has always been clear that God-honoring people of like values should teach and mentor them, especially during their impressionable years. Our Christian school and church understand the following critical principle that the Bible teaches:

"We will not hide them from their children, telling to the generation to come the praises of the LORD, And His strength and His wonderful works that He has done…He commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children; That the generation to come might know them, the children who would be born, that they may arise and declare them to their children, that they may set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep His commandments; And may not be like their fathers, a stubborn and rebellious generation, a generation that did not set its heart aright, and whose spirit was not faithful to God."    Psalms 78:4, 5,6, 7, 8 (NKJV)

We think this is serious stuff. If you’re on this website reading these words, you take them seriously too. We are passionate here about our God and we love children. We understand the importance of a quality education. We understand the strategic, relevant nature of our efforts in a culture that is losing its moral bearings. We also believe in giving God our very best efforts. We believe that the church and ministries like King’s Academy are the hope of the world. I have a feeling that you believe things like that too.

Because of the area that we live in (McGuire Air Force Base is right across the street from us), you will see that anyone who becomes a part of this ministry literally touches the world. Many precious military people leave us and go all over the planet. If you are interested in a school that is making a difference in the world, I encourage you to check us out.

If we can serve you or your children, please contact us. If you have any questions, we will do our very best to answer them. God’s peace be with you and your precious family. I hope that you will give us the opportunity of meeting you.

Warmest regards,

Frank E. Reitzel, Jr., B.A., M.A.
