Middle School Excitement

Middle School is that wonderful, growing up time in a child's life when they are no longer little children but not yet a teenager. Eighth grade signals the arrival of the teen years but that is still not clearly defined for them, so they are often struggling to find their way. Who am I, where am I going, and will I fit in when I get there. Biggest fear - being embarrassed in front of their friends! Peer pressure is powerful and self-esteem is low.

This is probably the most essential time for your child to be surrounded by godly teachers, peers whose parents have the same values as you do, and a church with youth programs that connect with your child.

Our goals for Middle School include:

• Solid academics to prepare them for high school
• Sports to challenge them athletically
• Spiritual development through bible classes, chapel, SWAT
• Stretching their view of their world and themselves
