During the ninth century, Vikings landed in Iceland and found a small population of Christian settlers. The Irish Christians were made slaves by the Vikings and given what was considered a menial task - taking care of children. Only three generations later, the people of Iceland voted to declare themselves a Christian nation. That is the power of Christian education. Teaching children is not a menial task - it is impacting lives, not only for the immediate but for generations to come.
We, the staff of King's Academy count it a privilege to be involved in the education of children. It is not a task taken lightly, but with much prayer, asking humbly that God would equip us to minister to the children He sends our way.
King’s Academy is a Christian School with an advanced academic curriculum and a strong spiritual emphasis. We have a staff of qualified, well-trained teachers who work closely with parents to train the whole child.
As a church-affiliated school, we are able to provide the security of environment and wholesome influence which children need. Also, with our low student-to-staff ratio (ten to one), we are able to help build our children’s characters. The character-building comes from teachers and staff taking the time to counsel the students—individually and as a group—in godly principles. We have found that only in taking the time to teach our students not only academics but life-skills as well, do we develop the strong Christian leaders we want our young people to become.
We would like to answer any questions you may have and show you our facility. Please call for an appointment; we are here to serve you.
